We are so glad to welcome you into Sutter Peak's supportive and thriving learning community. Our incredible staff of dedicated educators are eager to collaborate and work alongside of you on your homeschool journey.
We recognize the sacrifice and dedication families make when homeschooling, which is why we strive to support parent choice and cultivate a personalized learning environment. Our vision is to develop a learning environment of joy and rigor to open doors for student success in college, career, community and life. We accomplish this by empowering collaborative partnerships with teachers, parent educators, students and community partners to connect student’s individual needs and interests to a rigorous personalized learning plan implemented with integrity and focused on increasing student achievement.
This is my fourth year as Director of Sutter Peak Charter Academy. My journey with Sutter Peak began 11 years ago, in its opening year, when I was a homeschooling parent of a Kindergartener and a 3rd grader. The following year I joined the staff as a teacher, then a lead teacher, and eventually the Director.
Sutter Peak is a Pacific Charter Institute School. Pacific Charter Institute empowers students to take charge of their education by connecting their individual needs and interests to a rigorous learning plan, thus creating self-motivated responsible citizens, critical problem-solvers, and lifelong learners.
